About

I am Christina, a digital design professional with over eight years of experience working in the marketing and advertising industry.  My interests and work within the design field are extremely diverse and include print layout, web/digital design, video editing, photography and more.  You name it, I’ve probably tried it and enjoyed it and I feel extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to work within so many different aspects of design throughout my career.

As a child art was always my favorite subject in school and throughout the years my education provided me with the opportunity to study everything from basic color theories to oil painting in Florence, Italy.  As a professional I’ve continued to explore various mediums gaining both experience and knowledge in a variety of areas within the design field. Although I prefer certain materials and projects over others I truly believe that each piece of work carries its own charm, and depending on my mood I would choose a different favorite each day.

Similarly, in college I discovered my deep interest in art history, but again found myself intrigued by all of the periods rather than specifically being drawn to one.  I can appreciate the kitschy yet masterful work of Normal Rockwell and at the same time am intrigued by the intent of Janine Antoni’s contemporary yet crass piece “Gnaw” (chocolate and lard).

Overall I am an art enthusiast in every aspect of the term.  I love creating it, I love learning about it, I love analyzing it, and simply I love experiencing it.
